Children may be cute, funny and endearing, but they’re also kind of psychopaths. And as they slowly but surely become socialized into society, they create odd bridges between their narcissistic tendencies and their interpretation of rules of civility.
These strange bridges are at the center of this Buzzfeed sketch that ponders what an office would look like if kids’ rules reigned (albeit as acted out by adults). It has some of the greatest childhood hits: jinxing, tattling, cooties, the primal ritual of licking food to claim it as one’s own territory, and more! All juxtaposed with the bureaucratic environment that is the modern office.
But these kid-adults aren’t letting workforce structures destroy their spirits, God love ‘em! Keep fighting the good fight, you little/big monsters.
